It is a reactive, hydrophilic, sulfonic acid acrylic monomer used to alter the chemical properties of wide variety of anionic polymers. Acrylic acid-2-acrylamido-2-methyl propane sulfonic acid copolymer is a moderately basic compound. It is the copolymer of acrylic acid and 2-acrylanmido-2-methylpropanesulfonic acid (AMPS). |
