Technical purpose This industrial process involves the wet steaming cotton dyeing and finishing method used in the textile industry, specifically for printing and dyeing cotton fabrics with mercerization. Mercerization enhances the luster, strength, and dye affinity of cotton. Coal is used in steam and conduction oil boilers to produce steam and maintain high operating temperatures, essential for various stages of textile processing, including scouring, bleaching, mercerizing, raising, width washing, stentering, and pad-dyeing. Steam is utilized for drying the fabric after each of the processes mentioned, with two drying steps for pad-dyeing and one for all other stages. The process is designed to efficiently allocate steam usage among different stages according to the proportion of 2:1:1:1:1:2 based on the assumption that each drying cylinder consumes an equal amount of steam. |
