Use advice for data set Users of this Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) data set should note that the input-output of Process E is derived from averaged literature review data representing a 'cradle-to-grave' approach within the time frame of 2013-2017. The data excludes considerations of plastic and metal casing recycling or treatment, as well as labor and factory construction costs and their environmental impact. Additionally, users should exercise caution when applying this EU-based data in the Chinese context, as it may not completely align with the industry-specific conditions in China. Modifications using official Chinese data, industry reports, and information from trade associations have been estimated to reflect the data from Chinese stakeholders better. For timeliness, reference the data from the most recent four-year average period available, specifically 2013-2016. Functional unit (FU) reference is based on 100 kg of typical LIB electrode material. |
