Use advice for data set Life Cycle Inventory (LCI) data users should ensure that their assessments capture at least 95% of the mass and energy flows when utilizing this data set on AEC production. It is critical to incorporate the upstream data provided (aluminum ingots, separator paper, transport, electricity, and water) for comprehensive environmental impact analysis. The inventory data sourced from the Gabi software should reflect the corresponding regional electricity profile and aluminum ingot production's reference years (2016 for electricity, 2015 for aluminum). Data gaps for materials such as ammonium citrate, ammonium pentaborate, NH4H2PO4, and HBO3 should be addressed through estimations based upon chemical equations using reactants available in the software. Users must include use and end-of-life stage calculations in their assessments to ensure a complete life cycle evaluation. |
