Use advice for data set When utilizing this dataset for Life Cycle Assessment, users must adhere to the following methodological guidelines: focus on processes directly related to the study's purpose and functional units, specifically excluding environmental loads from stages outside the factory. For accurate representation, users should account for the provided annual average data from 2011. The functional unit is defined as processing 1000kg of Litopenaeus vannamei, with survival rates of 70% during the breeding process and 20% during the reproductive stage. For modeling purposes, it is necessary to consider a functional unit of 100,000 larvae for the breeding stage and 500,000 nodal larvae for the reproductive stage. Extrapolation of this data for different years or other geographical locations should be done with caution, considering potential changes in technology, practice, and environmental conditions.
Technical purpose of product or process The data set describes the cultivation and comprehensive utilization process for Litopenaeus vannamei (Pacific white shrimp), outlining its use in industrial shrimp farming and processing for food products. Intended applications for this dataset include the planning and optimization of shrimp aquaculture facilities, the development of efficient breeding practices, and the creation of processed shrimp products within the aquaculture industry. This information is highly relevant for aquaculture supply chain management, food processing companies, and sustainability assessments within the seafood industry.

General comment on data set According to the actual situation of the cultivation and comprehensive utilization of Penaeus vannamei, the processes directly related to the purpose and functional units of the study were considered, and the various stages of environmental load outside the plant were not considered. Data were collected for 2011 annual mean data. The functional unit is processing 1000kg Litopenaeus vannamei. The survival rate of Litopenaeus vannamei in the breeding process was calculated as 70%, the size of the finished shrimp was 70 /kg, and the functional unit in the breeding stage was to raise 100,000 larvae of Litopenaeus vannamei. The reproductive stage is calculated according to the survival rate of 20%, and the functional unit is to reproduce 500,000 nodal larvae.

Time representativeness description The specific sampling time is not specified in the literature, and the data used are the annual average data of 2011
Technological representativeness
Technology description including background system The technology of breeding and comprehensive processing and utilization of Litopenaeus vannamei, including the technology of breeding, breeding and processing of litopenaeus vannamei. The process of seed breeding includes shrimp breeding, mating, spawning, hatching, skimming, larva breeding and larva breeding. There should be facilities such as parent shrimp pond, seedling pond, reservoir, sedimentation tank, sand filter, and bait culture pond, equipped with facilities such as inlet and drainage, gas supply, power supply, heat supply and dehumidification, and quarantine and disinfection areas should be set up for workshop management and access. Feed fresh algae, silkworm, squid, squid, krill, etc. as feed. Monocystis culture is performed in accordance with DB33/T 2300. The area of the factory farming pond is from 30 m 2 to 100 m 2, the depth of the breeding pond is 1.5 m, and more than 2 reservoirs (or water treatment ponds) are equipped for alternate use, and the total water storage is required to reach more than 2 times the daily peak water exchange. Facilities such as tailwater treatment are built. It can also be equipped with online water quality monitoring, pressure sensing, automatic feeding, bottom oxygen or pure oxygen oxygen and other systems. Use the special compound feed for South American white shrimp, and the compound feed shall comply with the provisions of GB/T 22919.5.

Mathematical model
Model description In this study, the equivalent factor method developed by ICI company in the UK is adopted to characterize the potential impacts of different load or emission factors on various forms of environmental problems, and quantify them into the same form or the same unit size. The "target distance" method is adopted, that is, the severity of an environmental effect is measured by the distance between the current level of the effect and the target level (standard or capacity) to indicate the relative contribution or weight of different types of environmental impact

Data treatment and extrapolations principles According to the input list data of each stage of the whole life cycle of litopaeus vannawn cultivation and processing, the effect of mirage in each link was systematically calculated.Due to the large fluctuation of survival rate during shrimp culture, the literature calculated the survival rate of Litemonas vannamei in the culture process as 70%, and the standard size of finished shrimp was 70 head/kg, so the functional unit of the culture stage was to raise 100,000 tail of litemonas Vannamei shrimp seedlings. Based on the survival rate of 20%, the functional energy single position is the multiplication of 500 000 larvae without nodes.
