General comment | Recycled Polyethylene (PE) is a thermoplastic product, made of polymers that become liquid at high temperatures and solidify once cooled. It is highly durable and useful in many applications. It does not chemically degrade but rather breaks apart to form microplastics. Plastic recycling is the processing of plastic waste into other products, which can reduce dependence on landfill, conserve resources and protect the environment from plastic pollution and greenhouse gas emissions. |
