General comment | Praseodymium(III) carbonate is an inorganic compound. The anhydrous form is olive green, and many of its hydrates such as heptahydrate and octahydrate are known. They are all insoluble in water. Praseodymium Carbonate Octahydrate is a water insoluble Praseodymium source that can easily be converted to other Praseodymium compounds, such as the oxide by heating (calcination). Praseodymium salts can give glasses and enamels a bright, true yellow color. |
