General comment Aluminum doped Zinc Oxide (AZO) is a type of transparent conductive oxide material that is processed by sputtering and has potential applications as a substrate for single wall carbon nanotubes processing by spray-coating. AZO consists of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles doped with Aluminum (Al), resulting in a crystalline hexagonal wurtzite-type structure. The doping fraction of Aluminum in AZO can vary, with examples being 0.02 and 0.04. AZO nanomaterials are synthesized using methods such as the auto-combustion method with glycine as a fuel and the irradiation of precursor films containing zinc nitrate and aluminum nitrate under vacuum ultraviolet radiation. The material is also studied for its electronic structures and doping effects on ZnO films.
